Eminem quickly gained popularity in 1999 with his major-label debut album The Slim Shady LP. It won Grammy Award for Best Rap Album. His cd,The Marshall Mathers LP, became the fastest-selling hip hop album ever. It won a grammy. The Eminem Show also won a grammy. He won the Academy Award for Best Song for the movie 8 Mile. He played the lead, in the movie. He is the best selling music artist of the 2000s. Eminem is also ranked in the 100 Greatest Artists of All Time by Rolling Stone magazine.
